| The mixture of Trumpets, Saxophones, Glocks, Snare Drums and Bass Drums provides a powerful mix for the highly entertaining musical repertoire that suits all occasions including Remembrance Day Parades to School Fates, and includes well known favourites such as Match of the Day, Tripoli, Saints and Wallace and Grommet. | |||||||||||||
| The band also takes part in a number of locally organised musical events run by both the Scout Association (making up part of a massed scout band formed in 2007 to celebrate the Centenary of Scouting) and other Bands from the local area (performing each year at the Youth Music in Action Concert that showcases York's youth music talent in a two hour stage show). | |||||||||||||
| The band has a long and proud history and every year that pride grows, despite the ever changing faces of its membership. If you would like to become a member of the band or would like to enquire about booking the band for an event then please feel free to contact us using the link below, and we will be more than pleased to hear from you. | |||||||||||||
